Hey everyone! Ever do something that made you uncomfortable? I mean so uncomfortable you were almost breaking out in a sweat? Well, that is what making this video did to me.

But you know what? I survived. I didn't drop dead. As a matter of fact, it was kind of fun. And often times, I've found out, doing something outside of our comfort zone CAN be fun.

Last year we went to Hawaii. What surrounds Hawaii? Water. Lots and lots of water. Me - I'm not too thrilled with water. I'm not a great swimmer and putting my head under water can be pretty freaky. But my husband LOVES the water and he wanted to go snorkling. Well, I love my husband and decided if I drowned it would be his fault and I could always come back and haunt him. So guess what? I tried it and I LIKED it. Plus, I set an example for my daughter who was fearful as well, and she LIKED it too!

Even better than that, I stared a fear that I've held onto for decades in the face and I WON! What a powerful feeling!!!

What are you scared of? Name your fear. That's the first thing to do in facing it. Name it and then decide you are going to master it. Who knows, you may find out like I did that it wasn't really that big of a deal afterall.
